This is our street turned into a big beautiful, yet annoyingly loud funeral. When I left for school some guys had some tall thin polls they where digging into the side of the road. Then, when I returned home there was a huge gorgeous blue tent with rows of chairs. The man finishing attaching the cloth to the polls was on top of a 2 story ladder straddling the very top of the ladder. On of his legs was on one side of the ladder and the other leg on the opposite side and he was using the ladders as stilts to walk around the tent to attach the tent to the supporting polls, and hang all the Bright lights. I've never seen a man misuse a ladder in such a dangerous way ever! Its was sure fun to watch!
Casey shot this video in between sessions. Since it was just downstairs on our street we were able to sneak some shots and videos without people knowing, but we didn't have the courage to take the shots when is was stuffed full of people. As you can hear from the video, the sound was incredibly loud. All I could make out of the Arabic they were yelling was Oh God you are GREAT (as in all powerful the Greatest of all).
